Explore Our Community By Bike

Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. We'll see you out there — and have fun!

Freedom Rides

With tons of gorgeous weather and incredible terrain for riding bikes around the valley, we've organized a few reoccuring group rides to get people out and about on two wheels.

Freedom Youth Rides

Full Moon Ride

Every full moon Freedom hosts a cruiser ride. We'll start at the back of the shop, and go for a cruise from there!

Youth Rides

The Freedom youth rides have been on for several years now, and have been growing steadily. With an intermediate and an advanced group, there is a spot on the ride for everybody. Come out to learn new mountain bike skills, better trail riding etiquette, more advanced techniques, and most importantly, to have an awesome time.

The fees for the program are as follows:

  • There is a registration fee of $200 CASH for the entire season.
  • Gas will be $50 for a 5-ride gas card.
  • If you're not sure about the season-long program and want to try it out, you can make one guest appearance for $15.
  • The fee for a PACA membership is $10 for youth.

In order to register, you will need to email us at info@freedombikeshop.com and request the forms. Then, bring them to us all filled out. You must fill out the Freedom waiver and registration form in order to sign up for the ride. You must also fill out the PACA registration form online to become a PACA member.
